Rocky Ford Grand Valley: Ms. Claudia's classroom, Classroom C at Grand Valley, is closed to children Wednesday, April 9, due to illness. Staff should report at their normal times.
Ms. Kim's class at Rocky Ford Grand Valley is completing a study on water. As part of the study, children created walking rainbows. Children take a strip of paper towel and color one end with a bright, vibrant marker. They then placed that end into a cup of water and the other end in a dry cup. As the water traveled up the paper towel, it drew the ink with it creating a rainbow effect. Not only did it demonstrate the movement of water, but it also sparked children's curiosity and creativity.
Rocky Ford Grand Valley classroom B, Ms. Kim and Ms. Sandra's classroom, is closed today, Thursday, Jan. 30, due to a shortage of paraprofessionals.

Children in Ms. Kim's and Ms. Sandra's class at Rocky Ford CDS have been busy learning about emotions. They colored these monsters, characters from a book about feelings!
