Parents! The Fowler Public Library will have their PreK-1st grade library program TODAY from 3:45pm-4:30. They will have snacks, crafts, stories, and games. Take your little ones and enjoy some quality time.
Center newsletters and calendars will be going out today, please be sure to check out all the important information. We have important dates/events listed and don't want you to miss out on. If you don't receive a packet at the beginning of each new month, please let staff know so that we can get you all the information you will need.

Parents, don't forget that Thursday, February 1st is early release at 12noon for parent/teacher conferences. Children will have lunch and then be released. Bus will load at 12noon and follow the normal route. A schedule with drop-off times will going out early next week. Please, if you haven't already done so, get in contact with your child's teacher to schedule your parent/teacher conference home visit. Call the center with any questions, 719-384-3190. Thank you!
Good evening families, Manzanola Head Start will run on a NORMAL schedule tomorrow, January 15th. Bus will also run on normal schedule. Dress children appropriately for the weather conditions. Please call the center if your child will be absent. Thank you!
Good morning families and Happy New Year! A couple of reminders as we get started on the second half of the year. Please remember that we do not allow ANY kind of outside food on our bus or in our building. It is a choking hazard and we do have allergies that we must be sensitive to. Also, don't forget that our bus must follow a strict bus schedule due to the length of our route. Please be respectful of the times of arrival and departure. Happy Winter Break! School is dismissed for the year. Enjoy the holidays and we'll see all our beautiful children back on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024.
Winter break is coming! Our last day for the year, 2023, will be Wednesday, December 20th. Children will return to school in 2024 on Tuesday, January 9th. Please, if you have any questions regarding break, call the center before 4pm on Wednesday. Enjoy your break!
Attention Manzanola Head Start: due to weather, we will be on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, December 14. School will begin at 9:45 am.
Don't forget family "night" will be tomorrow morning at 10am! Join us for a winter wonderland! Breakfast, warm drinks, parent/child activities, and info on financial literacy. We'll see ya then!
Fall break begins Friday, November 17. Please enjoy the holiday, family, and rest. We will see all of our beautiful children back in the center on Monday, November 27th. If there are any questions, please be sure to call the center before 4pm on 11/16/23. Staff will be on break as well. Thank you!

Don't forget FAMILY NIGHT will be held on Wednesday, November 8th @ 2pm. Our topic is health literacy and mental wellness. Please let us know if you will be attending and how many adults to expect. We want to have enough snacks for everyone. Please know that we are holding this family night during school hours and can only accommodate adults this time. Please no siblings. We will have a presentation and then a parent/child activity in the classroom to conclude the day. See ya then!
Amber's classroom B has possibly been exposed to COVID-19. If you child has symptoms please contact your primary care provider.
Parents, please NO COSTUMES tomorrow. We encourage children to wear a favorite character t-shirt if they'd like, we just can't have any costumes to distract the class. Thank you for your understanding.
Tomorrow is the end of the month, don't forget to turn in all in-kind sheets. That includes activity calendars, scholastic reader logs, and in-kind homework logs. These are vital to our program and we need your help. Don't forget to mark how much time was spent on activities, your signature and the date. Please call the center with any questions.
