Attention: Tina Leitner's classroom at Grand Valley in Rocky Ford will close today (December 2) due to exposure to COVID-19. Children can return December 7. If your child experiences any COVID-19-related symptoms, please contact your primary medical provider.
Remember a period when you had a challenge or difficult time? Think about how you were able to get through it. Tap into your own strength. You are strong.
Your child's behavior may challenge you. It's okay. A change in routine can be stressful for a child. Children show they are upset the only way they know how – through their behavior. Don't take it personally when they act out. Pause, breathe, then respond.
Think about all of the important things you do every day for your family. You are exactly the parent your children need you to be right now.

The non-filer tax portal for the Child Tax Credit closes November 15.
The deadline is fast approaching! DYK? Families who did not make enough money to file a 2020 tax return are still eligible for the Child Tax Credit. Use this simple online tool to enroll until Nov. 15, 2021. The Child Tax Credit has been expanded to $3,600 per child under 6 and $3,000 per child 6–17 years old. Eligible non-filers can use this simple online tool to enroll in the Child Tax Credit until Nov. 15, 2021.
