Otero College Child Development Services spring registration for preschool and Universal Preschool is planned for April 12, 2024. Registration will be held during the following times: La Junta, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Las Animas, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Manzanola, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Rocky Ford, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Lamar, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Due to the continued inclement weather, the La Junta CDS center is closed today, Monday, March 25. All other centers are open. Central Office staff will report at their delayed time.
Buses will have a delayed start today, March 25, but will ensure children get to school by 10 am.
All Otero College Child Development Services campuses are on a 2-hour delay today, March 25. Staff should report at 9:30 and school will begin at 10. Buses will run in time to get children to school.

Due to dangerously cold temperatures and wind chill factors, Otero College Child Development Services centers in Lamar, Las Animas, La Junta, Rocky Ford, Manzanola and Boone will have delayed starts on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Staff will report by 9 a.m. School will begin at 9:30 a.m. Please stay warm!
Attention CDS families: Due to bus issues related to the cold weather, Rocky Ford Grand Valley is on a one-hour delay and Manzanola is on a two-hour delay this morning. Buses will run but will be delayed. If you choose to drive your child to the center at the normal time, staff will be available.
Attention CDS families: Lamar Center will be on a 2-hour delay Tuesday for children and a 1-hour delay for Lamar staff.
La Junta, Las Animas, Rocky Ford, Manzanola and Boone centers will resume regular hours. Transportation will run as normal at those centers that provide transportation.
